For Kids & Teens
Youth Programs
From league to open bowling fun, State Street Lanes is where Grinnell's next generation of bowlers get started.

Every kid deserves
a place to belong.
Bowling isn't just a sport. It's one of the few activities where a 7-year-old and a 70-year-old can play side by side. Our youth programs build skills, friendships, and confidence that last well beyond the lanes.

Why Bowling
More than just
knocking down pins.
Physical Activity
Bowling builds coordination, balance, and upper body strength, all while having fun.
Social Skills
Team play teaches sportsmanship, communication, and how to cheer for someone else's success.
Screen-Free Fun
Two hours away from devices, focused on something real and physical.
Confidence
There's nothing like knocking down all ten pins to make a kid feel like they can do anything.
